It doesn't feel cheap or plasticky, which was one of my main concerns. It's slightly lighter than a real 48k rubber key model, but not distractingly so. In physical terms, it's a near perfect likeness.

Note that you do need an emulator that both supports the Recreated ZX Spectrum AND USB joysticks. Then you plug the joystick or converter into a USB socket on your PC. An example of the later is in this thread over on WoSf.
As the game will be actually running under emulation on a PC, you will need either a joystick that uses USB, or a traditional Atari compatible joystick and a USB converter.
